University of Strathclyde opens admissions to MSc Artificial Intelligence and Applications
Study Abroad: Candidates with a second-class honours degree or equivalent and an IELTS score of 6.0 can apply.

NEW DELHI: The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, is now accepting applications for its Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence and Applications, commencing in September 2024. This programme is tailored for graduates without a computing science background, focusing on intelligent agents and machine learning.
Eligibility for this master's programme requires a minimum second-class honours degree or equivalent and an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0. The fee for international students is 26,100 Euros for the 2024-25 academic year. Scholarships ranging from 5,000 Euros to 7,000 Euros are available, awarded based on academic performance and relevant experience. The scholarship application deadline is July 31, 2024.
Based on the office for artificial intelligence’s national AI strategy, the course covers core AI techniques and their business applications. The curriculum is designed to address the skills shortage, particularly in machine learning, ensuring graduates are highly sought after in various sectors such as education, engineering, health, finance, government, manufacturing, retail, and transport.
Graduates of this programme will gain transferable skills, preparing them for professional careers in AI and its applications. The course aims to equip students with the ability to design, develop, optimise, and apply AI algorithms and technologies to meet business objectives. It also includes training in statistical methods for sampling, distribution, assessment, bias, and error.
Students will have the opportunity to network with major employers, including J Pierpont Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Logica. Each module is delivered through lectures, practical computer lab work, and tutorials.
