The UP police provisional answer key was issued earlier and candidates were allowed to raise objections between September 11 to 19. After reviewing the challenges submitted by the candidates, the subject experts prepared the final answer key for declaring the results. A total of 70 objections in all 10 shifts were found to be correct.
As per the answer key, a total of 25 questions and answer options are incorrect. The board has decided to cancel the 25 questions and answer options that are incorrect and allot marks to the candidates.
Additionally, 29 questions have more than one correct option. In this regard, it has been decided that if the candidate has filled any one of the correct options, then he will be given the prescribed marks for the correct answer, it said. Altogether, the answers for 16 questions have been changed.
Candidates will have to visit the board’s official website, uppbpb.gov.in, and login using registration number, date of birth, and question book number to view and download the answer key. The UP Police Constable final answer key 2024 download link will be available till November 9.
“The answer key being issued under the above recruitment process is final. After this, no objection of any kind will be accepted on the questions, their answer options and answer key, nor will it be considered. The list and date of suitable candidates for the next stage of selection (DV/PST) will be published soon on the Board's website http://uppbpb.gov.in,” it informed.
“Although adequate care has been taken in uploading this information on the website, still the Board will not be responsible for any technical error nor will anyone get any benefit due to the erroneous marking. If any such case comes to its notice, the decision of the Board will be final,” it added.
