NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate results for the September 2024 session today, October 30. Candidates who have appeared for the ICAI September exams can now access their CA result 2024 through icai.nic.in, icai.org or icaiexam.icai.org.
As per the results declared, the CA Foundation 2024 pass percentage is 19.67%, whereas the CA Inter 2024 pass rate for both groups combined is 5.66%.
In the CA Inter Group 1 exams 2024, 69,227 candidates appeared, with 10,505 (15.17%) passing. For Group 2, 50,760 candidates appeared, out of which 8,117 (15.99%) passed. Additionally, 23,482 candidates attempted both groups, but only 1,330 (5.66%) have passed.

Tanya Gupta from Chennai bagged the second rank with 476 marks (79.33%), while Vidhi Jain from New Delhi secured third place with 471 marks (78.5%).
Announcing about the CA Inter 2024 toppers, Dhiraj Khandelwal, central council member of ICAI posted on X, "The CA Intermediate results are out, and there’s a historic moment to celebrate—this time, all three top rankers are women. It’s a powerful sign of how the profession is shifting. Currently, women make up about 30% of ICAI’s membership, a number that’s expected to grow to 50% in the next five years. The progress has been remarkable: in 2008, there were only about 8,000 female members. By 2018, that number had soared to 80,000, and today, it has surpassed 125,000."
The ICAI CA Foundation exams 2024 were held on September 13, 15, 18, and 20. The CA Intermediate 2024 exams were conducted in two groups: Group 1 on September 12, 14, and 17, and Group 2 on September 19, 21, and 23, 2024.
