The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has concluded the ISC Board Exams 2026 for Computer Science - Paper 1 (Theory) today, March 27. The Class 12th board exam was held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm for a duration of three hours.
The ISC Computer Science theory paper was conducted for a total of 70 marks, while 30 marks will be given for the internal assessment.
The ISC Class 12th Computer Science question paper includes objective-style multiple-choice questions worth 1 mark, as well as short- and long-answer questions. The question paper will include two parts: Part I - compulsory, short answers/MCQs, and Part II - structured, long-answer/coding questions.
The ISC 12th Computer Science paper will be based on Java programming, Data Structures, Boolean Algebra chapters, and more. As per the ISC 12th passing criteria, students will have to obtain at least 35 marks out of 100 to qualify for the Computer Science paper.
According to the exam day guidelines, students are required to carry their ISC Class 12 board exam hall ticket, pens, and basic stationery. They should avoid carrying items such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, written notes, and other electronic devices inside the school board examination hall.
After the ISC 12th Computer Science exam is concluded, the subject experts and teachers will release the question paper analysis. The ISC Class 12 Computer Science question paper analysis 2026 will include difficulty level and expected cut-offs based on student feedback and expert review.
As per the exam pattern, the Class 12 Computer Science paper will have a combination of MCQs and Assertion-Reasoning, Very Short Answer, Short Answer, Long Answer 4 marks, and Case-Study-based questions.
