The ISC Physics theory paper is being held for a duration of three hours, with an additional 15 minutes provided to students to read the question paper before writing their answers.
The ISC Class 12 Physics question paper carries 70 marks, with sections A and B accounting for 14 marks each, while section C carries 27 marks.
The ISC Class 12 board exams 2026, conducted by CISCE, began on February 12 and will continue until April 6.

As per the exam pattern, Class 12 Physics paper will have a mix of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), very short, short conceptual, long, numerical or application-based questions, and additional numerals or derivations.
ISC board's Class 12 students need 40% in Physics theory paper plus 40% in subject, including practical to be declared pass. Overall, the minimum passing marks to clear the ISC board exam 2026 is 35% across all subjects.
ICSE Class 12 Physics Question Paper 2026 Analysis

Students who will be appearing for the ISC Physics paper tomorrow must go through the exam day guidelines.
- Carry ISC Class 12 board exam 2026 admit card.
- Reach exam centres 30 to 45 minutes early.
- Only black or blue ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener, geometry box, basic calculator is allowed inside the examination hall.
- Items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, any other electronic device, study material chits are prohibited.
