DHSE concluded the Kerala plus one 2026 physics exam today, March 23, 2026. Updates on guidelines, pattern, question paper analysis, answer key and more

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, concluded the Kerala DHSE Plus One exam 2026 of physics paper today, March 23, from 1:30 pm to 4:15 pm. Around 4.11 lakh students are expected to appear for the Kerala Plus One (Class 11) board exams 2026 across the state.
The DHSE Kerala Plus One exams 2026 will continue till March 27 and end with Part III Languages, Sanskrit Sastra, Psychology, and Mathematics.
Students appearing for the Kerala plus one physics exam 2026 are advised to reach the centre at least 30 minutes early and carry their admit card for entry. The first 15 minutes are allotted for reading the question paper before writing begins. Electronic devices such as mobile phones are strictly prohibited, and candidates must follow all exam hall instructions and maintain discipline throughout.

The Kerala plus one exam 2026 paper analysis will be made available soon after the test is completed. Teachers, subject experts, and coaching institutes are expected to share detailed reviews along with unofficial answer keys soon after the exam concludes.
The Kerala DHSE follows a 100-mark system for Physics. The theory paper carries 60 marks, while the remaining marks are divided between practicals and internal assessment.
The paper includes a mix of question types with internal choices, ensuring assessment across different difficulty levels and concepts.

The Kerala Plus One Physics theory paper is structured with a mix of very short, short, and long-answer questions to assess different levels of understanding. It typically includes 1-mark questions, followed by 2-mark and 3-mark short answers, and 4-mark and 5-mark long-answer questions. Internal choices are provided in most sections, allowing students flexibility while ensuring that both conceptual clarity and application-based knowledge are effectively tested.
To pass the Kerala Plus One Physics exam, students must secure at least 30% marks overall. They are also required to score the minimum qualifying marks separately in theory and practical components.
