KVS Admission 2024-25: KV Sangathan issues Class 2 and above admission list; important dates

The KVS Class 2 admission process will continue till April 29. The last date for admission for all classes, except Class 9, is June 29.

NEW DELHI: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has issued the provisional admission list for Class 2 and above. The KV admission 2024-25 list has been hosted on the respective school official websites. Students or parents who have applied for KVS admission will have to check the name and roll number to know the qualifying status.

The KVS Class 2 admission process will continue till April 29. The last date for admission for all classes, except Class 9, is June 29.

“This admission list is provisional. The name in this list does not confer any Right to Admission and is subject to verification of all Original certificates and fulfilment of eligibility criteria, as notified in KVS admission guidelines,” the official notification read.

KV Sangathan said that if the documents are found to be fabricated or fake the admission offer will be cancelled and the student will be debarred.

For Class 2 to 8, there will be no admission test and seats will be filled depending on the vacancy within the class strength. For admission to Class 9, an admission test will be conducted, and a merit list will be prepared for the category of priority separately.

KVS Class 9 admission test will be held for subjects - Hindi, English, mathematics, social science and science. The admission test will be held for a duration of 3 hours and will carry 100 marks. The five sections will carry questions of 20 marks each.

Students who obtain a minimum score of 33% will be declared qualified. Those belonging to reserved category such as SC, ST will have to score 25% to be considered for admission.

As per the reservation policy, 25% will be reserved for Right to Education, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 27% seats for OBC-Non creamy layer (OBC NCL). Students and parents can visit the respective KV school official website to check application status.
