NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on August 1, 2021. Class 12 Biology students who wish to appear for NEET 2021 must meet the minimum cut-off percentile to qualify the medical entrance exam. While the scores corresponding to NEET UG 2021 cut-off percentiles will be announced along with the result, the previous year’s scores are a good indicator of where the NEET cut-off percentiles usually lie and how well a candidate needs to perform.

The NEET cut-off percentile varies with the category. In public institutions and government quotas, seats are reserved for historically-marginalised communities - Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), the disabled (PH) -- and economically weaker sections (EWS). Every year, the NEET cut-off for the unreserved seats is 50th percentile. While, the reserved category candidates must secure at least in the 40th percentile to qualify NEET entrance exam. The corresponding scores change.
