NIOS 10th, 12th admit card 2026 out; exams from April 10
NIOS class 10, 12 exams will be conducted from April 10 to May 6. Students appearing for April/May exams can now download their hall tickets from official website.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the admit cards for the secondary and senior secondary courses for April/May 2026 public exams. Candidates appearing for these exams should have their 12-digit enrollment number ready to download the hall tickets.
Students can download their hall ticket only if they have paid the examination fee for the April 2026 public exams and if their photograph is available with NIOS. If the hall ticket is not generated, they should contact their Regional Centre immediately.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to download their hall tickets.
- Go to the official website of NIOS
- On homepage, look for the 'Exams and Results' tab
- Select the ‘Examination’ section and click on ‘Hall Ticket April/May 2026’ link
- On the redirected page, enter your enrollment number and hall ticket type and click on submit
- Hall ticket will open up on screen
- Go through the details and download the same
- Take its printout for future references
The NIOS admit card contains essential candidate and exam-related details that should be checked carefully. It usually lists the student’s name, enrollment number, course (Secondary or Senior Secondary), photograph, examination centre information, subject names and codes, and the schedule for each paper. It also includes important instructions, reporting time, and subject-specific restrictions (if any).
The NIOS Class 10 and 12 practical exams were scheduled from March 17 to April 1, 2026, with admit cards released on March 9. The theory exams are to be conducted between April 10 and May 6, 2026, and results are expected in June.
