RRB NTPC 2024 application correction facility ends tomorrow; editable fields

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will close the application correction window for the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) undergraduate posts tomorrow, November 6. Successfully registered candidates will be able to make changes in their RRB NTPC 2024 application form through the official website, rrbapply.gov.in.

Candidates will have to use their log in credentials such as application number and date of birth to make corrections in the Railway RRB NTPC 2024 application form. The TTB NTPC application correction window opened on October 30.

“After the final submission of the ONLINE application, if a candidate wishes to further modify, change or correct any details except details filled in ‘Create an Account form (including mobile number and Email ID) and Chosen RRB, he/she may do so by paying a modification fee of Rs 250 (non-refundable) for each occasion,” the official notification read.

RRB NTPC Application Form 2024: Editable fields:

  • Allowed Changes: Most fields in the application form can be edited after submission, except for the email ID and mobile number. This means that candidates can make corrections or updates to other details such as their name, address, education qualifications, and community category.
  • Not Allowed Changes: The email ID and mobile number cannot be changed once submitted. These fields are fixed to ensure the authenticity and communication with the candidate.

Modification Fee: If a candidate chooses to modify any information in their application (apart from the email ID and mobile number), they must pay a modification fee of Rs 250 for each change. This fee is charged for any alteration made to the application after the initial submission.

Community Category Modification:

  • If a candidate wants to change their community category (for example, from Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) to Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), or Economically Weaker Section (EWS), they will be required to: pay the difference in examination fees.
  • If a candidate changes from SC, ST to UR, OBC, EWS, they will have to pay the difference in the exam fee, which is Rs 250. In addition to the exam fee difference, the candidate will also have to pay the Rs 250 modification fee for changing the community category.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11,558 vacancies in the department. Of these, 3,445 positions are reserved for undergraduate posts, including roles such as junior clerk cum typist, accounts clerk cum typist, trains clerk, and commercial cum ticket clerk. The remaining 8,113 vacancies are allocated for graduate-level posts.
