NEW DELHI: The School Education Department, Andhra Pradesh will release answer keys for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 from today, October 4. Candidates who participated in the eligibility test will be able to download the AP TET day 1 answer keys 2024 through the official website, aptet.apcfss.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the AP TET 2024 day 1 answer key. Candidates can use the AP TET 2024 answer key to calculate their probable scores in the exam.
The AP TET examination started on October 3 and it will continue till October 21 at various centres across Andhra Pradesh. The department will release the answer keys in phases, a day after each exam day. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer while no marks will be deducted for wrong answer marked.
AP TET 2024 selection process

Written Examination :
- There are two papers in AP TET 2024. Paper 1 is for candidates aspiring to teach classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach classes 6 to 8.
- The exams consist of objective-type questions.
- Paper 1 and Paper 2 cover subjects like Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (for Paper 1) or Mathematics and Science/Social Studies (for Paper 2).

Merit-based Evaluation :
- Candidates must score a minimum of 60% to qualify (though this may vary for reserved categories). The AP TET certificate is now valid for a lifetime.
This test is a qualifying examination for applying to teaching positions in government and aided schools across Andhra Pradesh.
