Assam HS final exam 2026 in February-March; no eligible students should be left out, says ASSEB
Assam HS Final Examination 2026: Registration forms will be available to download till November 25, 2025.
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has announced that it will conduct the Assam HS Final Examination 2026 in February and March. The board will also begin the registrations for the High School-HS final examination today through its official website at site.sebaonline.org.
Students, school heads and parents will be able to download the Assam HS Final Examination 2026 application form till November 25, 2025.
“All institutions must ensure no eligible student is left out of the process,” the ASSEB said in an official notification.
The board has also clarified that no provisional or offline form fill-up will be permitted this year. Notably, no form will be accepted if not submitted within the stipulated time.
Students must note that their registration number remains valid for a maximum period of five years from the date of registration. Further, re-registration with special permission from the Assam board will be required before the form fill-up process begins.
Registration fee for Assam HS Final Examination 2026
In addition, examination and centre fees are exempted for candidates of government, provincialised, and recognised venture schools, colleges whose parental annual income does not exceed Rs 2 lakh or below.
“Only the students of a permitted recognized stream will be considered as regular students (appearing for the first time in the HS Final Examination-2026),” the official notification reads.
“Students from institutions that are permitted but not yet recognized, or that lack subject-wise permission, will be treated as Institutional Private (I.P.) candidates and will have to pay the prescribed I.P. fees, and no subject change will be allowed during or after the form fill-up process,” it added.
Candidates are required to pay Rs 900 as the examination fee, Rs 350 as centre charges, and Rs 100 per subject for practical examination. Students from the private institutions are required to pay Rs 1,200 as the examination fee, Rs 350 as the centre fee, and Rs 100 per subject for practicals
Those appearing for a single subject must pay Rs 750 examination fee, Rs 350 as the centre fee, and Rs 100 per subject for practicals.
