GATE 2025 application correction facility begins at gate2025.iitr.ac.in; editable fields

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has commenced the application correction process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 today, October 31. Candidates registered for the exam can make changes in their GATE application form 2025 through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to make changes in the GATE 2024 application form. As per the schedule, GATE 2025 application correction link will be available till November 6, 2024.
The examination authority has also released GATE 2025 mock test links to assist candidates in preparing for the February 2025 exam in CBT mode. GATE 2025 mock test link has been activated for 38 subjects.
GATE 2025 exam schedule
GATE 2025 will be conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode for 30 test papers. The duration of the exam will be three hours. The test will be administered in two shifts - forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
A candidate can take a maximum of two test papers from the available sets of two-paper combinations. IIT Roorkee will issue GATE admit card 2025 on January 2. The GATE 2025 admit card is a mandatory document for the examination day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their admit cards.
GATE 2025 editable fields
As per the official schedule, candidates will be able to make changes to category, paper, exam city, add an additional test paper, or update personal details through the GATE 2025 correction facility. The GATE 2025 admit card will be released on January 2, 2025, and results will be declared on March 19, 2025.
GATE exam is conducted for admission to Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India. Many public sector undertakings (PSUs) and state electricity boards (SEBs) also accept GATE to recruit trainee engineers and scientists for group C-level posts.
