NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has activated the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) mock test link for all subject papers. Candidates who have registered for the GATE 2025 exam will be able to take the GATE mock test 2025 through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Candidates can access the GATE 2025 mock test for each paper by clicking the link on the official website. GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16.

The GATE 2025 mock test for each subject will have two sections, including general aptitude and a subject-specific section. The general aptitude section will have five one-mark and five two-mark questions, designed to assess candidates' analytical and language skills. The subject-specific section is tailored to the chosen field and includes 25 questions worth 1 mark each and 30 questions worth 2 marks each.

Candidates can use the GATE 2025 mock test to understand the exam pattern and marking scheme. Practicing these mock papers helps candidates identify areas that need improvement, allowing them to focus on specific sections that require more attention.

Marking Scheme

Questions carry 1 mark or 2 marks

Negative Marking

For a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ, there will be negative marking.

For a 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

For a 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ or NAT questions.

There is no partial marking in MSQ.

As per the official schedule, the deadline to make changes to category, paper, exam city, add an additional test paper, or update personal details with an extra fee for each modification is November 6, 2024. The GATE 2025 admit card will be released on January 2, 2025, and results will be declared on March 19, 2025.
