ICAR postpones JRF, SRF counselling for academic year 2024-2025 to January 2025
ICAR: The cutoff date for completion of degree, and PDC of all PG programs has been extended to October 15, 2025.

NEW DELHI : The Indian Council of Agricultural Research issued a notice regarding the postponement of ICAR JRF, SRF (PhD) counselling for the current academic year 2024-25 to January. As per the official notice, the ongoing ICAR JRF and SRF (PhD) counselling for the current academic year 2024-25, has been withheld and will be held along with the counseling for PG programs of the veterinary stream during January and February 2025.
Further, the cutoff date for degree and all PDC of PG programs has been extended to October 15, 2025. As per the latest ICAAR notice, the counseling for postgraduate programs except the veterinary stream will be held as per schedule.
“It is for the information of all that the ongoing ICAR JRF, SRF (PhD) counselling for the current academic year (2024-25) has been withheld and will be held along with the counselling for postgraduate programmes of veterinary stream during January, February 2025. Further, the cutoff date for completion of degree/ PDC of all PG programs has been extended to October 15. However, the counseling for PG programs (other than the veterinary stream) will be held as per schedule.”
