CAT 2025 Analysis LIVE: IIMCAT slot 1, 2, 3 paper difficulty level; memory-based questions

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 in three sessions. IIM CAT 2025 slot 3 exam was slightly more difficult than slot 1 and 2, as per expert analysis. IIMK will soon announce the IIM CAT 2025 answer key and response sheet for candidates to evaluate their answers.

As per CAT 2025 slot 2 analysis was moderately difficult. VARC section was easy and DILR section had lengthy questions, and Quant section had tricky but solvable questions. The CAT 2025 slot 1 was easy to moderate, there was no change in exam pattern.

The CAT 2025 question paper contained 68 questions, divided into three sections – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).

According to the CAT 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer and lose one mark for each incorrect response. There will be no negative marking for unanswered questions.

CAT exam 2025 was held for 2.95 lakh students aspiring to study Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in IIMs and other management institutes accepting CAT scores.

CAT 2025 answer key with solutions

As the MBA exam is over, the coaching institutes will now share their CAT exam slot 1 analysis and release the CAT 2025 question paper with solutions along with the unofficial CAT 2025 slot 1 answer key.

Examinees will also share their reactions on the difficulty level, types of questions, topics asked in the CAT 2025 slot 1 paper.

While IIMK is yet to announce CAT answer key date 2025 and CAT 2025 result date, aspirants can check their expected scores using the CAT 2025 percentile predictor. Notably, the institute will use a normalisation method to determine the CAT percentile 2025 as the exam is taking place in multiple sessions. Along with the CAT result 2025, IIMK will also announce the CAT 2025 toppers and CAT cut-off 2025.
