IISER IAT 2026 registration begins tomorrow for BS, BS-MS, BTech; exam on June 7

Download EBookThe Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) will start accepting online applications for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2026) from tomorrow, March 5. Eligible candidates can apply for IISER IAT 2026 on the official website, iiseradmission.in.
As per the IISER IAT 2026 schedule, the last date to submit the IISER IAT application form is April 13, up to 11:55 pm. The computer-based test will be conducted on June 7 in a single shift, from 9 am to 12 noon, and the exam duration will be three hours.
After the IISER IAT application window closes, the correction window will open on April 16 at 11 am. Candidates will be allowed to edit their IISER IAT application form until April 18. The IISER IAT 2026 admit card will be issued on May 24.
IISER IAT 2026: Eligibility, fees
Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025, or who are appearing in 2026 from any recognised board, are eligible to apply for the IISER IAT 2026 exam .
Candidates must have studied at least three subjects out of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics in Class 12. They should have scored at least 60% total marks (55% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
To complete the IISER IAT 2026 application form, candidates belonging to the General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000. Candidates from the PwD, SC, ST, and Kashmiri migrants, Kashmiri pandits, and Kashmiri Hindu families (non-migrant) categories are required to pay Rs 1,000.
Foreign National category candidates have to pay Rs 12,000 as the IISER IAT application fee.
