The JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip for Session 2 is expected to be issued shortly. The city slip will be available on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can access their JEE Mains city slip 2026 by using their application number and password/date of birth on the website. The NTA has not issued any official notification regarding the JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 City Slip release date and time.
JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 Dates
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 2 to April 9, with the test held in two shifts each day. The testing agency closed the registration window for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination on March 13.
Students preparing for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 and aiming for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlanning programmes can also access previous years’ question papers along with solutions in PDF format through the NTA’s official portal at nta.ac.in.
JEE Main 2026 City Slip: Steps to download
Candidates can follow the steps below to access and download the JEE Main city intimation slip:
- Visit the official website: Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in or jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Find the relevant link: Click on “Advance City Intimation for JEE (Main) 2026” available under the candidate activity section on the homepage.
- Log in to your account: Enter your Application Number along with your Date of Birth or Password used during registration.
- Enter the security code: Fill in the Captcha/Security Pin displayed on the screen and click on Submit.
- Check exam city details: Once logged in, your allotted exam city and exam date will be shown on the dashboard.
- Download the slip: Save the city intimation slip as a PDF and take a printout for future reference and travel planning.

JEE Main 2026 Intimation Slip: Important things to note
Candidates should keep a few key points in mind while accessing the JEE Main city intimation slip.
- City slip is not the admit card: The city intimation slip only informs candidates about the exam city and date in advance to help them plan their travel. It cannot be used for entry into the examination hall.
- Admit card will be released later: The official admit card, which contains details such as the exact exam centre address and shift timing, is usually issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) about 2–3 days before the exam.
