JEE Main 2026 Registration LIVE: Session 2 exam from April 2 to 9; shift timings, admit card, exam pattern

JEE Mains 2026 Session 2: NTA has closed the correction facility for registered candidates on February 28. Updates on exam dates, cut-offs, JoSAA counselling, other details.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has closed the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 form correction facility on February 28, for registered candidates applying for BTech, BArch, and BPlanning programmes. The agency had opened the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 correction window on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, on February 27.
The testing agency will conduct the computer-based JEE Mains 2026 session 2 from April 2 to 9. The engineering college entrance test will be held in dual shifts. The forenoon shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Over 13.5 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exam. Only 2.5 lakh will qualify for the college entrance test for admission to engineering, architecture and planning courses at various government and private institutions.
Those who will qualify for the JEE Mains 2026 exams will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced, a gateway for admission to the Institute of Technology (IITs).
JEE Main 2026 Correction Window: How to access?
Registered candidates can follow the steps given below to access the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 correction window.
- Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on “JEE Mains 2026 session 2 correction link.”
- A new window will open.
- Type login details such as application number and password.
- Complete OTP verification.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Select the “Correction in application form” option.
- Pay the correction fee through net banking, debit, credit card, or UPI.
- Press submit.
- Download and print the updated confirmation page.
