JMI LLB students placed in top law firms; get admission offers from international universities
Jamia Millia Islamia BA LLB (honours) students get Rs 9 lakh, Rs 16.5 lakh packages at law firms; secure LLM admission in the UK.
The faculty of law at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) announced that two students of BA LLB (honours) have secured pre-placement offers from popular Indian law firms - Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India and Trilegal - with packages of Rs 9 lakh per annum and Rs 16.5 LPA.
Another BA LLB (honours) student from JMI law has received an offer of admission from the reputable University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, for their Master of Law ( LLM ) programme. JMI law faculty has lauded these high-achieving students.
These feats have been attributed to the university vice-chancellor, Mazhar Asif, and registrar, Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi. Ghulam Yazdani, dean of JMI law faculty, applauded the vice-chancellor “for taking keen interest in speeding up the placement initiatives and creating various job avenues for the passing out students.”

Yazdani and other faculty members congratulated the students for their remarkable accomplishments and wished them the best.
Jamia Millia Islamia expresses pride at these students and says that, “These significant milestones by the Law faculty testify to the academic excellence and high caliber of education and training provided at JMI.”
Jamia Millia Islamia will conduct BA LLB (honours) admissions through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam for the year 2025-26, as announced in its university prospectus. The university offers 120 seats for the programme.
