NEET 2026 Registration LIVE: NTA extends MBBS, BDS application deadline to March 11; how to apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 registration deadline to March 11, until 9 pm. Candidates can fill out the application form on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The fee payment window will remain open until 11:50 pm on the same day.

The testing agency will open the correction facility for the NEET UG 2026 registered candidates after the closure of the registration process. Whereas, the dates are yet to be announced for the NEET UG 2026 city slip and admit card.

The pen-and-paper mode NEET UG 2026 will be held on May 3. The college entrance test will be conducted from 2 to 5 pm.

NEET UG 2026: Documents to upload for registration

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes must check the documents required to submit the NEET UG 2026 application form below.

• Class 10 certificate or marksheet.
• Class 12 details or appearing certificate
• Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence
• Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, if applicable)
• PwBD certificate
• Permanent and correspondence address details
• Scanned photograph and signature.

The testing agency has also issued a few instructions for the NEET UG 2026 aspirants regarding the submission of the application form.

Candidates must upload their recent and coloured photograph with a white or light background. Their face should be clearly visible, and there should not be any shadows or filters.

Notably, all the image documents should be in the JPG or JPEG format, and the size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB. As per the instructions, candidates should avoid wearing caps, sunglasses, or heavy accessories to avoid any unclear image.

• Go to the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on the NEET UG 2026 registration link.
• A new page will open.
• Enter the NEET registration details required.
• Click on the submit icon and fill out the NEET UG 2026 application form.
• Pay the requisite NEET application fee.
• Click on the submit icon.
• Download the confirmation page.
