SC to hear NEET PG plea on October 25

The NEET-PG 2024 exam is facing legal challenges, with a case set for hearing in the Supreme Court on October 25, 2024. Candidates have petitioned for more transparency from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), requesting the release of key documents such as answer keys, response sheets, and raw scores.

Candidates are concerned about the fairness of the exam, particularly because the NEET PG 2024 cut-off was not published and the normalization process was used for the first time. Candidates argue that without these documents, it's hard to verify how their scores were calculated.

A candidate is allowed to submit only one registration form for NEET PG counselling 2-24. If a candidate is found submitting multiple forms, he/ she will be disqualified from the NEET PG counselling process. The candidature of such candidates will be cancelled, and additional actions may be taken by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW as appropriate.
