NIFT 2026 answer key out for BDes, MDes admissions; challenge by February 19

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the answer key and response sheet for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE 2026) shift 1 general ability test (GAT) today, February 17. The NIFT 2026 provisional answer key can be downloaded through the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee.

To download the NIFT GAT answer key, candidates will have to enter their valid application number, date of birth or password. The NIFT 2026 exam for the academic year 2026–27 was conducted by NTA on February 8 in both computer-based test (CBT) and paper-based test (PBT) modes. It was held at around 129 centres across 97 cities.

Students who are not satisfied with the NIFT 2026 provisional answer key can challenge it through the official portal by paying a requisite fee of Rs 200 per objection until February 19, 11:50 pm.

The NIFTEE is a national-level design entrance exam conducted for admission to NIFT campuses across India. Students can take admission to various design courses, including Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), and Master of Fashion Management (MFM), through qualifying for the NIFT exam .

Follow the instructions below to challenge the NIFT 2026 provisional answer key.

• Go to the official NTA NIFT website, exams.nta.nic.in/niftee
• Click on the ‘Challenge(s) regarding NIFT Answer Key’ link.
• Enter your valid application number, password, and security PIN.
• Choose the NIFT question IDs you want to challenge by checking the relevant Option IDs.
• Upload supporting documents as a single PDF.
• Click on the ‘Save your claim’ button and review all challenges.
• Click ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally’ and pay a non-refundable fee.
