SSC CGL tier 1 answer key 2024 expected soon at ssc.gov.in; marks distribution
SSC CGL provisional answer key 2024 for tier 1 CBT exam 2024 will be released soon. As per the exam calendar, the tier 2 exam will be held in December this year.

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to issue the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2024) provisional answer key for tier 1 soon. Candidates who appeared in the SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2024 held from September 9 to 26 will be able to download SSC CGL answer key from the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The exam is held for filling up of various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different ministries, departments, and organisations of the Government of India.
The SSC CGL tier 1 exam was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The question paper consisted of objective type, multiple-choice questions set both in English and Hindi except for English comprehension.
Candidates will also be given an opportunity to challenge the answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 100 per question. SSC CGL answer key objections received through any other mode e.g. letter, application, email, etc. will not be entertained, the commission said.
The SSC answer key objections will be reviewed by subject experts before preparing the final answer key and results. Those candidates who are shortlisted in the SSC CGL tier 1 results 2024 will be eligible to appear in the SSC CGL tier 2 exam to be held in December this year.
SSC CGL Tier 1 2024: Marking scheme
For every wrong response marked by the candidates in SSC CGL tier 1, there will be a negative marking of 0.50. Here’s the section-wise question and mark distribution for SSC CGL tier 1 exam.
