Telangana Inter First Year Admission 2024-25: TSBIE extends deadline till October 20; late fee details
TSBIE Intermediate Admission 2024-25: Students applying to private junior colleges will be required to pay a late fee of Rs 500.

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has extended the deadline for first-year intermediate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. The new deadline for students to complete their admissions has been extended till October 20, 2024. However, the reason for this extension has not been revealed. Earlier the deadline was extended to October 15, 2024.
Parents and students are encouraged to confirm the affiliation of their selected junior colleges prior to completing the admissions process. The TSBIE board informed that the list of affiliated colleges can be found on the official TSBIE websites: acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in.
TSBIE Inter 1st Year Admission 2024-25: Late fee for junior private colleges
According to the notice issued by TSBIE, admissions into government and government sector junior colleges can be completed without any late fees. However, students applying to private junior colleges will be required to pay a late fee of Rs 500.
The TSBIE has advised all junior college principals, including those from government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and residential institutions, to ensure the admission process for first-year Intermediate students continues smoothly until the extended deadline.

The official TSBIE notice read, “All the Principals of the Government/Private Aided/Private, Un-Aided/Co-Operative/TG Residential/TG Social Welfare, Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model/ KGBV/Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges in Telangana State, who are offering two year Intermediate courseare informed that, the last date for admissions into 1st year Intermediate for the academic year 2024-25 is extended up to 20 -10-2024 with a late fee of Rs 500/- in all Private Junior Colleges and without a late fee in all Government and Government Sector Colleges, as a last chance and there is no further extension.”

First term holidays for Junior colleges from October 6
TSBIE has declared the first term holidays for junior colleges throughout the state. As stated in the official press release from TSBIE, all types of institutions including government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and welfare organizations providing the two-year Intermediate course will be closed from October 6 to October 13, 2024. Colleges will resume on October 14, 2024.
