NEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has increased the number of vacancies for Group 4 services 2024. The TNPSC vacancies 2024 will be filled through Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group IV Services) is 8932. Candidates can check the official notice regarding TNPSC group 4 recruitment 2024 through the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in.
As per the official notice, the number of TNPSC group 4 vacancies 2024 has been increased from 6,244 to 8,932. In September 2024, 480 vacancies were increased, and in October, 2208 vacancies were added.

Candidates can check the TNPSC group 4 revised vacancies list given below-
- VAO: 400 posts
- JA(Non Security): 3458 posts
- JA (Security): 69 posts
- Bill Collector: 99 posts
- Typist: 2360 posts
- Steno-typist: 642 posts
- Junior Assistant: 32 posts
- Senior Factory Assistant: 25 posts
- Steno Typist (Grade III): 3 posts
- Junior Inspector of Co-operative Societies: 17 posts
- Laboratory Assistant: 32 posts
- Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth): 216 posts
- Junior Assistant: 22 posts.
The provisional answer key was made available on the commission's website on June 18, 2024, and the results for the preliminary exam are still pending. The TNPSC Group 4 exam 2024 was conducted on June 9, 2024.
Candidates who pass the prelims will be invited to appear for the main examination, with the date for the main exam to be announced following the release of the prelims results.
