UPSC CAPF AC 2024 final result out on upsc.gov.in; 459 selected for assistant commandant posts

UPSC CAPF AC Final Result: The candidature of 97 recommended candidates is provisional. Marks for all exam participants are expected to be released within 15 days of the result declaration.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of the Central Armed Police Forces Assistant Commandant (CAPF AC) exam 2024 today, June 14. A total of 459 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various posts.
Candidates who appeared for the interviews for the personality test conducted from May 5 to June 5, 2025, can check their UPSC CAPF AC 2024 final result through the official website at upsc.gov.in. The commission has issued the names of selected candidates along with their roll numbers in the official result notice available on the official website.
As per the official notice, marks of all the candidates who appeared for the exam are expected to be published within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result. For queries, candidates can contact the UPSC Facilitation Counter near the Examination Hall Building on working days between 10 am and 5 pm or call 011-23385271 or 011-23381125.
“The final selection/appointment of recommended candidates will be subject to final outcome of the Writ Petition (Civil) No. 5877/2022 filed by Diwakar Pande & Ors. Vs. Ministry of Home Affairs & Ors. pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi,” the official notice said.
The candidature of 97 recommended candidates remains provisional. The Commission has also released a consolidated reserve list of 112 candidates ranking below the last recommended candidate. This list includes 56 from the general category, 12 from EWS, 37 from OBC, three from SC and four from ST.

UPSC CAPF AC Final Result: Category-wise vacancy distribution
The UPSC recruitment drive aims to fill 515 vacancies, an increase from the 506 vacancies initially announced. Of the total, 186 vacancies are for the Border Security Force (BSF), 120 for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 100 for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), 67 for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and 42 for the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The category-wise vacancy distribution is given in the table below.
