The application form for MP NEET PG 2025 round 1 counselling has been hosted on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in. NEET PG Counselling 2025 Dates LIVE
All candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2025), including in-service doctors, should register on the DME MP online portal.
This year, the DME has instructed in-service candidates to register under the open category during the initial registration. The decision has been made after last year’s disputes over the addition of incentive marks for in-service doctors, which had led to the cancellation of round one.
The directorate will verify the list of candidates eligible under the in-service quota and update their category accordingly. Candidates whose category is updated will be informed through SMS and they are required to download the updated application form through the DMP MP candidate login .
The mark discrepancies arose last year, as the state counselling committee had added the incentive marks of such candidates to their raw marks instead of their percentile score declared by the NBEMS.
Last year, the raw marks of candidates were not issued as the NEET PG exam was held in two shifts. As a result, there was a lot of confusion and chaos along with prolonged delay in completing the admission process.

MP NEET PG: Last year’s delay, legal challenges
Last year’s MP NEET PG counselling was marred by court cases , document forgeries, and repeated delay in the admission process. In December, the MP High court had ordered the cancellation of the first round merit list after a group of in-service candidates challenged the addition of incentive marks to their raw scores instead of percentile scores declared by the NBEMS. This delay left several candidates in fear of losing the desired or preferred seat in the state as well as outside the state.
In a subsequent inquiry, it was found that 48 candidates had submitted forged documents to claim the NRI quota . All such candidates lost their candidature and legal action was initiated against them.
It is to avoid a repeat of last year, that the DME has announced new rules for in-service candidates. However, this year too, aspirants continue to seek transparency in the exam. The Supreme Court will hear the NEET PG exam transparency matter on October 28.
The detailed schedule for the MCC NEET PG counselling schedule will also be issued after the SC decision on NEET PG.
