UP Police constable recruitment exam 2024 result by October end: CM Yogi Adityanath

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) will announce the results of the UP police constable recruitment examination 2024 by October end, CM Yogi Adityanath informed on 'X'. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination will be able to download the UP Police constable result 2024 through the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
The UP Police constable final answer key will also be issued along with the written exam results. Yogi Adityanath also announced that the recruitment process for the vacant positions should happen more quickly, and the integrity of the examinations must be prioritised at all costs.
"Prepare to release the result of Police Constable Recruitment Exam by the end of this month. The recruitment process for vacant posts should be accelerated, the purity of the examinations must be ensured at all costs," UP CM Yogi Adityanath said on 'X'.
To download the UP Police constable result 2024 , candidates must use their login credentials, including their registration number and date of birth.
UP Police Constable Result 2024: Around 48 lakh appeared
Approximately 48 lakh candidates appeared in the UP Police Constable written examination 2024. Out of the total, 28.91 lakh candidates appeared in the first phase, while 19.26 lakh participated in the second phase.
The UP Police Constable written exam was conducted in two phases. The first phase took place on August 23, 24, and 25, 2024, and the second phase on August 30 and 31, 2024. The exam was held in two shifts: the morning shift from 10 am to 12 noon and the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. A total of 1,174 exam centers across 67 districts in the state conducted the recruitment test.
Those who pass the written exam will then proceed to the physical tests, which consist of the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This will be followed by document verification and medical examinations.
